Indoor Sciences has been acquired!

AURORA, IL, April 12, 2021— Aftermath Services, the Illinois-headquartered, nationwide leader in the biohazard remediation space, recently acquired Chicago-based Indoor Sciences, nationally recognized experts providing training and consulting in indoor air quality, industrial hygiene, and environmental sciences. Since 2004, Indoor Sciences has been keeping people safe throughout the Midwest from viruses, bacteria, mold, asbestos, radon and a myriad of other airborne health hazards. Further, it has trained over 10,000 environmental professionals worldwide as a training provider of the Indoor Air Quality Association. Indoor Sciences will become part of Aftermath’s recently launched wholly owned subsidiary, Aftermath Environmental Quality Services.

The Indoor Sciences acquisition further solidifies Aftermath’s position as the industry leader in the biohazard sciences ecosystem. Through Indoor Sciences, Aftermath can now offer its customers a range of air quality, industrial hygiene, and environmental services nationwide, utilizing its 47 field offices located throughout the country.

“Indoor Sciences and Aftermath share a number of core values including dedication to the scientific method during each and every procedure we perform,” said Doug Berto, CEO of Aftermath. “We have always developed our operational process and procedure based on guidelines from scientific institutions such as the CDC and EPA. We saw the same dedication and integrity in the way Indoor Sciences conducts itself and knew immediately that they take protecting customers as seriously as we do. We couldn’t be more thrilled about this development.”

“In Aftermath we found a partner that shares our three core values of scientific expertise, exceptional customer service, and care for people,” said Ian Cull, Founder of Indoor Sciences. “With the increased importance of ventilation and filtration during the COVID-19 pandemic, individuals and businesses are increasingly looking for a subject matter expert to help them create a safe and healthy environment. We are excited to expand our indoor air quality monitoring and consulting services across the country with Aftermath and their impressive footprint.”

The scale and expertise of the combined companies cements Aftermath’s focus and commitment to building a safer, healthier environment for families, businesses, and communities from unseen dangers.
